Reslin KIT – Oval Tray

Discover the creative potential of Reslin®, a safe and sustainable material made from linseed oil and a natural activator derived from sugar beet molasses. This beginner-friendly kit allows you to craft your own decorative, functional, and artistic objects with ease and confidence.

Using Reslin® is simple, safe, and environmentally friendly. The kit provides all the materials you need to create a beautiful bowl, with no harmful chemicals involved.

1. Prepare Materials:
   Start by weighing out the correct amount of Reslin® oil and Reslin® activator – the standard ratio is 1 part activator to 2 parts oil.

2. Warm the Components:
   To make mixing easier and ensure proper curing, heat both the Reslin® oil and activator in a convection oven at a low temperature (for example, around 60 °C / 140 °F) before you mix them.

3. Mix Thoroughly:
   Combine the activator and oil in a clean bowl. Stir until completely blended and smooth. At this stage you can also add pigments, glass beads, mica, dried flowers, or other creative additives if desired.

4. Fill the Mold:
   Pour the mixed material into your bowl-shaped silicone mold. Make sure the mixture reaches all areas of the mold for an even, finished shape.

5. Heat to Cure:
   Place the filled mold in the convection oven and heat it in stages. This usually involves warming at a lower temperature first, then increasing the temperature so the material fully cures.

6. Cool and Demold:
   After heating, allow the object to cool before removing it from the mold. You can let it cool naturally or place the mold in cool water to speed up setting.
